The project stream of the Federal Interlocutor's Contribution Program is a proposal-based program specifically available to:
- Métis, non-status Indians or off-reserve Indigenous organizations or institutions
- other non-Indigenous organizations or institutions, including professional research organizations
The program supports projects that work toward:
- achieving practical ways of improving socio-economic conditions for Métis and non-status Indians
- supporting self-determination
- reducing dependency
