Let’s celebrate North American Occupational Safety and Health Week!

From May 3rd to May 9th is Occupational Safety and Health Week. This Week provides awareness to employers, employees, partners and the public on the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace, at home, and in the community.

Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) and Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) Departmental Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Program will use this opportunity to provide information linked to the departments’ four mandatory courses on occupational health and safety as well as ergonomics. The mandatory courses are outlined in the departments’ learning roadmaps (intranet link — http://intranet-rcaanc-cirnac/eng/1406038028411/1406039358412) and are available on GCcampus.

Take a few minutes every day to complete the courses and contribute to make our workplace safe and healthy!
