Audit and Evaluation

Promoting greater accountability, transparency and oversight in government operations is one of the Government of Canada's top priorities. Each year, Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) conducts evaluations, internal audits, financial reviews, and forensic audits. Through this work CIRNAC ensures the appropriate use of human and financial resources and that services and programs are relevant, efficient and effective.

What information is available?

In this section, you will find information about the department’s internal audit and evaluation reports. All approved departmental internal audit, forensic audit, and evaluation reports are accessible to the public to meet the policy requirements of Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat.
