So, my name is Waseskon Awashish. I study Public Communications at Université Laval, and I'm Atikamekw and Innu. I work for Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada. The federal public service was looking for young Aboriginal students in a number of areas, including communications. I work on a variety of things, but mainly, I do lots of writing. I was also asked to work on some major projects. What I like most about my work is that each day bring something new. At the office, there are some extraordinary people, so for me, my colleagues are A1. I've truly had a lot of great experiences in this job, so I can say that it's been a real success.
